FR-2000
The FR-2017iT CR is an FRnet analog input module for remote measurement, combining 12-bit conversion on 8 differential or 16 single-ended channels. Channel mode is switch selectable, and the module accepts a range of voltage and current signals, from ±150 mV up to ±10 V and ±20 mA, plus 0 ~ 20 mA and 4 ~ 20 mA. Each input range can be applied to all channels through switch settings, or set per channel in software when the optional CA-0904 cable is fitted. Each analog input is protected against high voltage, with overvoltage ratings of 240 Vrms for differential and 150 Vrms for single-ended inputs. The module provides 3000 Vrms intra-module isolation and an isolated communication line, and the FRnet interface uses wire-saving 2-wire twisted-pair cabling with 250 kbps or 1 Mbps transfer speeds selectable by DIP switch.FR-2000 modules can be daisy chained on FRnet to extend remote I/O control from a PC, PAC or PLC. The module is a DIN-rail mounted plastic unit powered from +10 VDC to +30 VDC and rated for operation from -25 ~ +75 °C.ApplicationsRemote analog signal acquisition on FRnet networksExtending remote I/O control from PC, PAC or PLC systemsMeasurement of process voltage and current signals in noisy or high-voltage environments
The FR-2024iT CR is a 12-bit FRnet analog output module with four channels. Each channel can be configured for voltage or current output, with ranges of 0 ~ 5 V, ±5 V, 0 ~ 10 V, ±10 V, 0 ~ 20 mA and 4 ~ 20 mA. Power-on and safe output values can be set, so outputs can take a defined state at start-up or when communication is lost.Modules are chained over FRnet, so a single communication line can extend remote analog output control from a PC, PAC or PLC. The FRnet interface uses built-in wire-saving control, supports broadcast (1:n) transmission and offers a fixed I/O scan time with I/O synchronisation. Transfer speed is selectable between 250 kbps and 1 Mbps (default) by DIP switch, with a maximum distance of 400 m at 250 kbps and 100 m at 1 Mbps.Intra-module isolation rated at 2500 VDCAccuracy of ±0.1% of FSR with 12-bit resolutionPower input of +10 VDC ~ +30 VDC, consuming 2.88 W maximumDIN-rail mounted plastic housing, operating range -25 ~ +75 °CApplicationsRemote analog output control from PC, PAC and PLC systemsDistributed analog actuator control over FRnet daisy chainsOutput duplication and broadcast control across multiple FRnet modules
FR-2053iT is a FRnet I/O module that adds 16 isolated digital inputs to a PC, PAC or PLC control system. Each channel accepts Sink/Source (NPN/PNP) wet-contact signals across a +19 ~ +30 VDC ON voltage range, with a maximum OFF level of +11 VDC, so it suits engineers who need a compact, wire-saving way to bring field contacts into a FRnet network.Modules connect in a daisy chain over a two-wire FRnet bus. Speed is selectable between 250 kbps and 1 Mbps via DIP switch, with 1 Mbps as the default. Broadcast (1:n) transmission, easy output duplication, a simple synchronisation mechanism and fixed I/O scan time help keep control timing predictable across the network. The module provides 3000 Vrms intra-module isolation and 3750 Vrms isolation on the digital inputs, along with EFT, ESD and surge immunity to IEC 61000-4-4, -4-2 and -4-5. It is housed in a plastic casing for DIN-rail mounting and is rated for operation from -25 ~ +75 °C.ApplicationsRemote digital input expansion for PC, PAC and PLC controlDistributed digital input acquisition over FRnet
The FR-2053iTA CR adds 16 isolated digital inputs to an FRnet network. Each channel accepts wet-contact signals in either Sink or Source (NPN/PNP) configuration, with an ON level of +3.5 ~ +30 VDC, so it suits a wide range of field sensors and switches.FRnet modules can be daisy-chained, letting engineers grow the remote input count without running a separate cable for every point. Wire-saving DI control, broadcasting (1:n) transmission and fixed I/O scan time with synchronisation keep the network simple to plan and predictable in operation.Power is supplied at +10 ~ +30 VDC with reverse polarity protection. The plastic DIN-rail module is rated for -25 ~ +75 °C operation and carries EFT, ESD and surge immunity to IEC 61000-4-4, -2 and -5 respectively. Selectable transfer speeds of 250 kbps or 1 Mbps (default) give a choice between distance and cycle time.ApplicationsRemote digital input acquisition for PC, PAC and PLC controlDistributed input expansion using daisy-chained FRnet I/O modules
16-ports Isolated Digital Output Distributed I/O Module.
FR-2057iT CR is an FRnet digital output module that adds 16 isolated open-collector sink (NPN) outputs to a PC, PAC or PLC controller. Modules are daisy-chained over a single twisted-pair line, so the output count can be extended without running separate wiring back to the controller. The module suits engineers who need deterministic output updates. Its fixed I/O scan time and I/O synchronisation keep outputs predictable across the chain, and broadcasting (1:n) allows one transmission to address several modules. Outputs can also be duplicated easily. Protocol handling requires no additional software overhead.Key electrical data includes a 3750 Vrms intra-module isolation rating, a 10 to 30 VDC isolated power input with reverse polarity protection, and a maximum consumption of 2.4 W. The plastic DIN-rail housing measures 33 x 102 x 110 mm (W x L x H) and operates from -25 to +75 °C.ApplicationsExtending remote digital output control from a PC, PAC or PLCSwitching NPN sink loads in distributed machine and panel installationsWire-saving distributed output control on FRnet networks
FR-2057iTA CR is a 16-channel digital output module that connects to a PC, PAC or PLC over the FRnet bus. Its outputs are PNP (source) type, rated up to 30 VDC and 100 mA, with each output isolated from the field side. It suits remote switching of actuators, indicators and other PNP-input loads where the output count, isolation and cable run are the deciding factors.FRnet uses a two-wire twisted-pair cable, such as Belden 9841, and modules can be daisy-chained to extend the remote I/O. This ordering code is set to 250 kbps, which allows a maximum transfer distance of 400 m, with a cyclic time of 2.88 ms. The factory default of 1 Mbps, with a 100 m maximum distance and 0.72 ms cyclic time, is changed with DIP switches. Cable type can change the achievable distance. The module takes a +10 to +30 VDC supply with reverse polarity protection and draws 2.4 W maximum. It is rated for 3750 Vrms intra-module isolation and passes EFT, ESD and surge tests to IEC 61000-4-4, -2 and -5. It is housed in plastic and mounts on a DIN rail, with an operating range of -25 to +75 °C. The product carries CE, UKCA, RoHS and WEEE marks.ApplicationsRemote digital output control from PC, PAC or PLC systemsDistributed switching of PNP-input loads over a daisy-chained FRnet networkSynchronised output updates in distributed automation
FR-2057iTW CR adds 16 isolated high-current digital outputs to an FRnet network. Each channel is an open-collector NPN sink output rated at 30 VDC and 250 mA maximum, so it can switch loads directly from a remote node rather than through an external driver stage.FRnet modules are daisy-chained over a twisted-pair cable, which keeps wiring to a minimum. The network supports broadcast (1:n) transmission and output duplication, and offers a fixed I/O scan time with I/O synchronisation. Transfer speed is selected by DIP switch, with 1 Mbps as the default and 250 kbps available for longer runs. The module is built for DIN-rail installation in a plastic housing, with a +10 ~ +30 VDC isolated power input, reverse polarity protection and EFT, ESD and surge immunity to IEC 61000-4-4, -2 and -5.
