tWF-PD4SR2D CR is a compact Wi-Fi remote I/O module that brings wireless digital input and switching output to monitoring and control installations. It operates on IEEE 802.11 b/g/n and can run as an access point (limited AP) or as a station (STA), so it can be added to an existing wireless network or set up as its own link.
The module provides four photocoupler-isolated dry-contact digital inputs, each with a 32-bit counter, and two DC solid state relay outputs rated DC 3 ~ 30 V/1 A. Modbus TCP support allows straightforward integration with SCADA software and Modbus HMI applications. Configuration is possible through a PC utility, an Android app or a standard web browser. Network encryption options are Open, WEP and WPA2.
Engineers will find it suited to DC power switching and remote counting or status monitoring in building, factory and machine automation, as well as remote diagnosis, maintenance and test equipment. It is mounted on DIN-rail, accepts 9 ~ 48 VDC with reverse polarity protection, and is rated for -25 ~ +75 °C operation. The manufacturer lists this variant as Asia only.
