The WISE-5231M-4GC CR is a metal-cased IIoT edge controller for remote logic control and monitoring. Its 4G wireless data communication uses the frequency band for China, making it suited to sites where cellular backhaul is needed instead of a fixed network connection.
Control logic is created entirely in the built-in web pages, so no separate software tool or programming is needed. The IF-THEN-ELSE rule engine supports unlimited rules, alongside timer, schedule, data logger and recipe functions, with mathematical operations and internal registers available for process logic.
On the field side, the controller accepts XV-board, DCON and Modbus RTU slave modules, plus Modbus TCP slave modules, and can exchange data with IP cameras and network devices through CGI commands. Data reaches IT, MES or SCADA systems over Modbus TCP/RTU, SNMP, FTP or MQTT, and it can publish directly to Microsoft Azure, IBM Bluemix or IoTstar cloud services.
