Produktinformation "I-7188E3-232 Ethernet to 3-Port Serial Converter, 2x RS-232 / 1x RS-485"
I-7188E3-232 CR is a programmable device server that brings RS-232 and RS-485 serial devices onto an Ethernet network. It provides two RS-232 ports and one RS-485 port, so existing serial equipment can be connected to a network without replacing it.
Data can be passed through either a Virtual COM connection, using the VxComm driver on 32-bit and 64-bit Windows 7 SP1, 10, 2012 and 2016, or a raw TCP connection, which makes the unit suitable for custom host software. The built-in MiniOS7 runs the Xserver programming structure, allowing custom Ethernet logic to be developed on the device.
The unit also includes 4 digital inputs (wet or dry contact) and 4 open-collector digital outputs rated at 100 mA. Its palm-sized housing has a watchdog timer for harsh environments, reverse polarity protection on the power input, and an operating range of -25 °C to +75 °C.
