The UA-2241MX-4GE is an IIoT communication server with a metal casing, designed to bridge field devices and IT systems. It reads data from remote I/O modules and controllers over Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU/ASCII, MQTT or EtherNet/IP, then republishes that data as OPC UA, MQTT and SNMP at the same time for MES, ERP, SCADA and cloud platforms.
Data logging is handled in parallel. I/O values can be written directly to a remote MS SQL, MySQL or MariaDB database while a copy is kept as CSV files on the microSD card, and an offline data recovery mechanism supports the remote database. Cloud links cover Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, IBM Cloud and ThingSpeak, and IFTTT logic can trigger app notifications when an event occurs.
The 4G LTE (FDD) variant with the CR ordering code is offered for Asia only, except China. Two Ethernet ports, RS-232 and RS-485 serial ports, and a DIN-rail mounted metal housing with a -25 ~ +75°C operating range suit industrial cabinet installations.
