The DNM-831I-100V-2000A CR converts a high AC/DC voltage and a high AC/DC current into ±10 V signals that standard analog input modules can read. One channel attenuates inputs up to ±100 V, and a second channel uses a clip-on current transformer to handle up to ±2000 A.
Isolation is the main reason to specify it. Each module provides 3000 VDC isolation between its internal stages and between channels, which helps keep input noise away from the outputs and from each other. The high-current input has 2.5 kV isolation at 50/60 Hz for 1 minute.
The order includes the CA-040415-1 cable and the ASO-0025 current transformer. It is compatible with analog input modules such as the I-7017, I-87017, M-7017RMS and I-87017W-RMS. It runs from +10 to +30 VDC and mounts on a DIN rail in a metal housing.
