The XW110i CR is a 16-channel isolated digital input expansion board from the XW-board series, designed for the uPAC-5000, LP-51xx and WP-51xx PAC platforms. It adds 16 digital inputs that accept either dry contact or wet contact signals, so a single board can handle switches and relays as well as DC voltage signals.
Each channel supports sink or source type wiring. The wet contact input turns ON at +10 VDC to +50 VDC and OFF at +4 VDC maximum, while the dry contact input turns ON when closed to GND and OFF when open. Isolation is rated at 3750 VDC and the wet contact inputs are protected against overvoltage up to 60 VDC.
Only one XW-board can be fitted to each PAC, so the XW110i CR is suited to projects where the controller's onboard I/O needs a 16-point isolated digital input extension. Typical power consumption is 0.6 W, and the board operates from -25 to +75 °C.
