The WP-5239-CE7 CR is a WinPAC-5000 programmable automation controller built around a 1GHz Cortex-A8 processor and Windows CE 7.0 Professional. The InduSoft runtime, licensed for 300 tags, is pre-installed, so the controller can run InduSoft applications directly on the device for engineers who want a Windows CE platform with SCADA-style tag handling.
Connectivity is provided by a 10/100/1000M Ethernet port, two non-isolated RS-232 ports, two RS-485 ports (one non-isolated, one isolated to 2500 VDC) and a USB port. An optional XV-board can be fitted to the I/O expansion bus to add input and output channels. Program files, images and data can be stored in the 256 MB built-in Flash or on the microSD socket, which ships with a 4 GB card.
The unit is designed for DIN-rail installation and accepts a +12 to +48 VDC supply. It operates from -25 to +75 °C and is listed as RoHS and WEEE compliant. The CR suffix in the ordering code corresponds to the InduSoft 300-tag variant with RoHS listing.
