The VP-2208-CE7 CR is a panel-mount controller that brings the operator interface, data acquisition and logic control into a single device. It runs Windows CE 7.0 on a Cortex-A8 1.0 GHz processor and drives a 7-inch 800 x 480 TFT display with a resistive touch panel, so one unit can handle both the control task and the screen that operators use.
Logic is developed with the embedded Win-GRAF SoftLogic environment following IEC 61131-3. The HMI can be built with the bundled eLogger tool using drag-and-drop objects, or with Visual Studio 2008 (VB .NET or C#) for more custom HMI and data management applications. Both approaches can exchange data with Win-GRAF applications.
Connectivity includes one Gigabit-capable RJ-45 port, two isolated RS-232/RS-485 ports, two USB 2.0 ports and Power over Ethernet support. Modbus RTU/TCP, OPC UA and DCON are supported. The NEMA 4/IP65 front panel and fanless design are rated for operation from -10 to +60 °C.
