The U-7550AM connects 12 digital inputs and 6 digital outputs directly to OPC UA, MQTT and RESTful API networks. It suits engineers who need I/O values in a SCADA, cloud or field control system without adding a separate gateway. OPC UA Server and Client, MQTT Client and RESTful API can run at the same time, so the networking mode can be chosen to suit each installation.
A built-in dual-port 10/100 Base-TX switch allows modules to be daisy-chained, reducing cabling and switch count. The unit is IEEE 802.3af (Class 3) PoE capable, or can be powered from a terminal block at +12 to +48 VDC. Configuration, control and I/O monitoring are handled through the built-in web interface, with no additional software required.
On-board logic rules (IF, THEN, ELSE) and a scheduler let the module act on local I/O and virtual points without a host controller. I/O trigger messages can be written to a CSV file or sent to a line for device tracking, and the module supports IoTstar cloud management software.
