R-9041 is a 32-channel digital output module for the RIO-98x0 redundancy I/O system. Each channel is an NPN, current-sinking open-collector output rated at 100 mA at 24 VDC, so it can switch industrial loads directly from a common field supply.
The module is designed for predictable behaviour when things go wrong. Preset/Hold safety values and power-on initial values define the state of the outputs during start-up or abnormal conditions. Channel-level self-detection reports faults in the module's channel components, and the termination board is monitored for disconnection, which helps keep field wiring reliable.
Its redundancy support lets the system keep running if a single I/O module fails, with a redundant switching time below 1 ms.
