PMC-5236 CR is a power meter concentrator for energy monitoring and management projects. It collects readings from ICP DAS Modbus power meters and Modbus I/O modules over RS-485 or Ethernet, then presents the data through a browser-based configuration interface, so control logic and reports can be set up without writing code.
Local intelligence covers power demand management and alarm handling. An IF-THEN-ELSE logic engine can switch I/O modules according to measured power status, supporting load shedding where required. Alarms can be sent via LINE, Telegram, Email or WeChat; the WeChat route needs an Enterprise WeChat account in China. Power data is logged to a microSD card and sent back automatically once a dropped network connection is restored.
For integration, the unit supports Modbus TCP/RTU, SNMP, FTP and MQTT, and can connect to Microsoft Azure, IBM Bluemix and ICP DAS IoTstar. The manufacturer lists this CR variant as For China Only, and the unit carries CE, UKCA, FCC, RoHS and WEEE marks.
