The PISO-PS300U CR is a universal PCI card for controlling three axes of stepper or servo motors through pulse command outputs. An embedded CPU carries out the motion commands sent from the host PC and returns position and status data, with buffering on both paths. This suits Windows-based machines where the PC handles the application and the card takes care of the pulse timing.
Motion features include linear and circular interpolation across axes, a programmable T-curve speed profile and a programmable DDA cycle. Encoder inputs support A/B phase, CW/CCW and PULSE/DIR modes, with a 32-bit counter. A hardware emergency stop and mechanical switch inputs for home and travel limits are included, alongside 8 digital inputs and 7 digital outputs with 2500 Vrms optical isolation.
The CR ordering code includes a CA-9-2502 D-Sub cable (0.2 m, 9-pin male to 25-pin female) and three D-Sub connectors with plastic covers (CA-PC09F, CA-PC09M and CA-PC25M). Drivers and function libraries are provided for DOS, Windows XP/2000 and Windows 7 (32-bit only).
