PISO-DA4U CR is a universal PCI analogue output board with four 14-bit isolated channels. It is intended for engineers who need to drive voltage or current signals from a PC while keeping the host protected from damaging power surges on the field side.
Each channel can be set individually to voltage output (±10 V) or current output (0 to 20 mA). Calibration is performed in software, so no jumpers or trim-pots are needed, and the calibration data is stored in EEPROM. The board also includes 16 TTL digital inputs with pull-high and pull-low options, 16 TTL digital outputs, and three 16-bit timer/counter channels.
This variant ships with one CA-4002 D-Sub connector. The PISO-DA4U/S CR, which includes a CA-3710 D-Sub cable instead, is the alternative for the same four-channel board. The PISO-DA4U CR is designed to replace the PIO-DA series without changes to software or drivers, and it operates from 0 to +60 °C.
