The PFN-2060 CR is a PROFINET IO device for distributed discrete control. It combines six isolated digital inputs, which accept both dry and wet contacts, with six Form A power relay outputs, so one compact DIN-rail module can both sense field signals and switch loads.
Integration is straightforward because the module is configured through its generic GSDML file, version 2.25, which can be loaded into any PROFINET engineering tool. Conformance Class B and RT Class 1 support cyclic times down to 1 ms, and the module can be set to hold power-on or safe output values.
