The MQ-7244M is an Ethernet I/O module for engineers who need to connect digital sensors and switches to MQTT or Modbus TCP systems without a separate gateway. It combines 8 digital inputs with 8 digital outputs in one metal housing, and the built-in web server lets you configure the unit, check network and I/O status, and switch outputs from a standard browser on a PC or mobile device.
A 2-port 10/100 Base-TX switch with LAN bypass allows the module to be daisy-chained along a machine or panel, which simplifies cabling where several I/O points are spread out. Each output channel is rated at 650 mA at 25°C, and both the power-on value and the safe value can be programmed, so outputs can be set to a defined state on start-up or during a fault.
Optical isolation rated at 2500 VDC for transient overvoltage protection is provided, although the digital outputs are not isolated from one another channel to channel. Dual watchdogs for the module and communication support fault recovery in unattended installations. The unit mounts on a DIN rail or on a wall.
