The LP-5231PM-4GE CR is a Linux-based programmable automation controller that pairs a 1 GHz Cortex-A8 processor with an integrated 4G modem. It suits engineers who need to run custom control or data-logging software at a remote site and send the results over a cellular network.
Connectivity centres on a single RJ-45 10/100/1000 Ethernet port, four RS-232/485 serial ports (one RS-485 port is isolated to 2500 VDC) and a USB 2.0 host port. The XV-Board expansion bus adds I/O, and GPS/GNSS reception with NMEA 0183 output is built in. Software development is supported by the LinPAC SDK, a GCC-based toolchain with LinPAC libraries.
