The IWS-2201-CE7-1500 combines a Cortex-A8 1.0 GHz controller with a 7-inch 800 x 480 resistive touch display, giving engineers a panel-mounted operator interface that also runs control logic. The InduSoft Runtime is included with a 1500-tag licence, and the Windows CE 7.0 operating system is held in on-board flash memory.
Connectivity covers one RJ-45 10/100/1000 Base-TX Ethernet port, two RS-232/RS-485 COM ports with 2500 VDC isolation, and two USB ports. The unit supports Modbus, OPC and TCP/IP client/server communication, and a DCON driver is provided for ICP DAS I/O modules. Remote I/O can be added through Ethernet, RS-485, Wi-Fi and ZigBee I/O modules.
This ordering code is the version without an I/O slot, with the 1500-tag InduSoft Runtime. The front panel carries an NEMA 4/IP65 rating, and the fanless design is rated for -10 ~ +60 °C operation, so it suits dusty or humid cabinet and machine-mounted installations.
