I-87K9-G CR extends a remote I/O system over RS-485 by providing nine slots for I-87K series I/O modules. Its DCON link and multi-drop RS-485 port let several units share one bus, which keeps cabling simple when I/O is spread across a machine or cabinet.
The unit suits harsh, electrically noisy sites. It accepts a wide 10 ~ 30 VDC supply, has an isolated power input and operates from -25 ~ +75 °C. The gray cover and single power LED make status checks straightforward during commissioning and maintenance.
More than 30 I-87K modules are supported, covering analogue and digital I/O, counters and frequency inputs. Software integration can use the DLL, ActiveX, Labview, InduSoft, Linux and OPC server options provided for the series.
