The tET-AD2 CR is a DIN-rail Ethernet I/O module that brings two single-ended analog inputs onto a network. Each input can be configured for voltage ranges from 0 ~ 500 mV up to 0 ~ 10 V, or for current ranges of 0 ~ +20 mA and +4 ~ +20 mA, so one module suits a wide mix of field transmitters and sensors.
Data is available over Modbus TCP, Modbus UDP, MQTT and SNMP V2c through a single 10/100 Base-Tx RJ-45 port. Sampling can be switched between Normal Mode (10 Hz total across channels) and Fast Mode (200 Hz total), letting you trade accuracy for update speed. Open wire detection is provided for the 4 to 20 mA range.
Electrical robustness is a strong point: the module offers 120 VDC overvoltage protection, 3000 VDC isolation between I/O and the module, 1500 VDC isolation on the Ethernet side, and ESD and EFT immunity to IEC 61000-4-2 and IEC 61000-4-4. Configuration is handled through the built-in web server, with password and IP filter access control. The module is powered from a +12 to +48 VDC terminal block and is rated for -25 ~ +75 °C operation.
