The iWSN-9601-PCT-ME-IP33 is a wireless energy meter that monitors six AC circuits fed from one single-phase voltage source. This ordering code is supplied without current transformers, so split-core CTs, with a range of 1 A to 400 A depending on the type chosen, must be selected and purchased separately for each load.
The meter draws its supply from the measured voltage cable, so no separate power wiring is needed, which simplifies distributed installation and quick setup. Readings are sent over 433 MHz sub-GHz radio, a choice suited to crowded or shielded factory spaces, and a 3-minute history data cache supports data recovery. Each record carries a timestamp from the built-in RTC.
Typical uses include machine and process power efficiency improvement, power information management, carbon emission calculation, predictive maintenance and big data analysis of power consumption. For modules mounted outside a panel box, the IP33 housing and connector cover help prevent circuit shorts when a fire sprinkler system is activated.
