The iKAN-116S CR is a compact single-row LED message display for engineers who need to show live PLC data or operator text on the factory floor. It shows 16 ASCII or 8 Unicode characters with a 9.6 cm text height, available in seven colours.
Messages can be stored locally: up to 128 common messages with user-defined priorities, and each message can combine text with up to 168 variables. The display is configured through a web-based interface and can be controlled from a PLC, PC or smartphone. A built-in real-time clock supports date and time display.
Connectivity comprises two RJ-45 10/100 Base-TX Ethernet ports and two RS-485 ports, with Modbus RTU master and slave operation on the serial side. The ordering entry for this code specifies the Modbus protocol. The aluminium housing is designed for wall mounting and operates from 0 ~ +60°C.
