The PISO-DA16U CR is a universal PCI board for engineers who need sixteen isolated 14-bit analogue outputs in a PC-hosted acquisition or control system. It can be used as a direct replacement for the PIO-DA series without changing existing software or drivers, which helps when upgrading or maintaining legacy systems.
Each channel can be set individually to voltage output (±10 V) or current output (0 to 20 mA). Calibration is performed in software rather than with jumpers or trim-pots, and the calibration data is stored in EEPROM. Sixteen 5 V/TTL digital inputs and sixteen 5 V/TTL digital outputs are also provided on the same board, with 2500 V DC bus-type isolation and a built-in DC/DC converter with 3000 VDC protection to help protect the host PC.
An onboard 4-bit Card ID switch lets software identify individual boards when two or more are installed in the same computer. The board ships with one CA-4002 D-Sub connector.
