PIO-D24U is a PCI digital I/O board for PCs that need direct control and monitoring of 5 V TTL signals. Its 24 lines are grouped into three programmable 8-bit ports (PA, PB and PC), which are all set as inputs at power-up or reset, so connected equipment is not driven until software configures the ports.
The board sits in a universal PCI slot that accepts both 3.3 V and 5 V signalling. Its Card ID switch lets software identify each card, which is useful when two or more PIO-D24U boards are fitted in the same computer. Four interrupt sources and register-level readback of digital outputs are also available.
- Drivers and sample programs cover Linux, DOS and Windows, with a DLL and ActiveX control.
- Sample code is provided for Turbo C++, Borland C++, Microsoft C++, Visual C++, Borland Delphi, Borland C++ Builder, Visual Basic, C#.NET, Visual Basic.NET and LabVIEW.
