The NS-205AFCS-T CR is an unmanaged Ethernet switch that connects four RJ-45 copper ports (10/100Base-TX) to one single-mode fibre port (100Base-FX, SC connector). Fibre keeps electrical noise out of the link and supports distances up to 30 km, with 9/125 μm fibre recommended for full duplex operation.
Power is supplied through redundant dual +12 to +48 VDC inputs with reverse polarity protection, so the switch can run from common industrial supply voltages without an external converter. A relay alarm output (2 A @ 30 VDC) and status LEDs help with monitoring.
The plastic casing mounts on a DIN rail and is rated for an operating range of -30 °C to +75 °C. This ordering code is the single-mode 30 km SC variant of the NS-205 series.
