The LC-305/DIN CR measures the load current of five AC lighting circuits and reports the readings over RS-485. It suits lighting control installations where engineers need to see whether each lamp is operating normally, rather than discovering a failure on site.
Current readings can be used to spot a lamp that is starting to fade and needs replacing, or a relay whose contacts may be becoming sticky from carbon build-up. Communication uses Modbus RTU or DCON, and different addresses can be set through hardware configuration. This DIN-rail variant is supplied for rail mounting, with a dual watchdog and 2000 VDC intra-module isolation.
