The I-8056-G CR is a 16-channel digital output module from the I-8K/I-87K low-profile series, suited to switching 5~30 VDC loads from a PAC or remote I/O system. Each channel is a sink-type (NPN) open collector output rated at 100 mA, so the module pulls the load to ground when a channel is active.
Engineers choosing the gray-cover variant will find the same 16 non-isolated outputs, with a LED for each output channel plus one for power and communication, so channel state can be checked directly on the module during commissioning and fault finding. The DO channels carry 4 kV ESD protection (IEC 61000-4-2, contact, each terminal) as standard.
The module draws a maximum of 0.9 W and is specified for an operating temperature of -25 ~ +75 °C, with a storage range of -40 ~ +85 °C. Its compact 31 x 116 x 88 mm (W x L x H) footprint makes it practical for dense control panels.
