The I-7188XAD CR is a compact serial PAC built around an 80188-40 CPU and the MiniOS7 operating system, programmed in C. It suits palm-size embedded controllers where a PC or PLC would otherwise be used, particularly in harsh environments that demand reliable operation.
On board you get two RS-232 ports, one RS-485 port and one RS-232/RS-485 combo port, along with 2 dry contact digital inputs and 2 open-collector digital outputs rated at +30 VDC max. and 100 mA. An X-board I/O expansion bus lets you add further I/O to match the application.
Storage includes 512 KB flash, 512 KB SRAM and 2 KB EEPROM, and the unit adds a 64-bit hardware serial number, a real-time clock, a watchdog timer and a 5-digit 7-segment LED display. It is a practical processor core for OEM products, with a DIN-rail mounting option and an operating range of -25 ~ +75 °C.
