ET-2228CI CR is an Ethernet I/O module that provides eight differential analogue outputs, each individually configurable for voltage (0 ~ +5 VDC, 0 ~ +10 VDC) or current (0 ~ 20 mA, 4 ~ 20 mA) operation. It suits engineers who need to drive field actuators and valves from a networked controller while keeping channels electrically separated from one another and from the I/O side.
The module includes a built-in web server for configuration and a 2-port 10/100 Base-Tx switch with LAN bypass, so units can be daisy-chained along a network line. Power-on and safe output values are programmable, and open wire detection is available on the 4 ~ 20 mA channels. I/O Pair Connection allows analogue input data from a remote module to be written to local outputs in Pull mode via Modbus TCP.
For MQTT-based systems, the module can publish I/O status as topics and receive messages from subscribed topics, with reconnection and Keep-Alive mechanisms to maintain the broker link. Typical use cases include factory and machine automation, building automation, remote diagnosis and maintenance, and test equipment.
