ECAT-2610-DW is a gateway that converts EtherCAT to Modbus RTU, so a serial device on its RS-232/422/485 port can be integrated into an EtherCAT network. It also integrates PM-3033/3133/3114/3112 power meter SubDevices, with the Main Device reaching their RxPDO and TxPDO data through a configuration file supplied by ICP DAS.
The unit suits system integrators who want to retro-fit older automation equipment into modern EtherCAT structures. Several power meters can be connected at once, supporting more diversified energy management programs. The source notes a simple installation and configuration process.
The gateway is supplied as the CR ordering code with a CA-0915 DB9 Male to DB9 Female cable, 1.5 M. It is certified to CE, UKCA, FCC, RoHS and WEEE and mounts on a DIN-rail in a plastic housing.
