The DB-16R is a 16-channel relay output daughter board that lets a digital output port switch 16 Form C relays. Each relay is energised by applying a 5 V signal to its channel on the 20-pin flat cable connector, so the board can be controlled directly from an A-82X, a DIO-64 or any other compatible digital output port.
Each relay has an indicator LED that lights while the relay is active, which makes channel status easy to check during commissioning and fault finding. Field wiring is made through screw terminals, and a separate screw-terminal power input is provided so the board does not draw its supply from the host PC.
