The CAN-2026C CR is a CANopen slave module that brings analogue and digital I/O onto a CAN bus network. Its 6 differential analogue input channels accept a range of voltage and current signals, with individual channel configuration, while 2 analogue output channels drive voltage or current signals from the same unit.
Built for standard CANopen masters, the module supports CiA 301 v4.02 and CiA 401 v2.1, with NMT slave operation and PDO mapping. A default EDS file is provided, so it can be added to a master's configuration without custom development. Isolation of 3000 VDC (DC-to-DC) and 2500 Vrms (photocoupler) is provided, and each channel has 4 kV ESD contact protection.
