DB-8225/2 is a female DB37 to screw terminal board that breaks out the 37-pin I/O connector of the A-82X series and PCI-1800U data acquisition cards to field wiring terminals. It gives 16 single-ended or 8 differential channels, so engineers can wire sensors directly to the terminals and connect them to the acquisition card through a single cable.
The board includes blank pads for break detection, low-pass filtering, current shunt and voltage attenuation circuits, allowing signal conditioning to be added where the application requires it. An on-board cold junction circuit is fitted to analogue input channel 1, and jumpers select single-ended or differential mode for that channel.
