iWSN-110X-360-ME CR is a self-powered current sensing node for engineers who need to meter AC current without running a dedicated supply to the measurement point. Its built-in Li-ion battery is charged from the current induced in the split-core CT, so the module can be fitted to an existing conductor and operate wirelessly.
Communication uses a 433 MHz radio link with 16 RF channels and 4 group IDs, giving up to 64 RF sub-networks for organising larger installations. Configuration is handled through DIP switches for channel, group ID, node ID and working duty, which keeps setup and maintenance straightforward on site. An expansion interface is provided for extending the module's capability.
The module supports a maximum 400A CT with a Φ36mm split-core aperture and mounts either on a wall or by magnet adsorption. Typical uses include energy saving programmes, big data analysis and predictive maintenance.
