The iKAN-208A is a double-row industrial LED message display for PLC-driven systems. Each row shows 8 ASCII or 4 Unicode characters, and text can be combined with live variables so that controllers can show process data without custom display programming.
The unit offers two RJ-45 Ethernet ports (10/100 Base-TX) and two RS-485 ports for Modbus RTU Master/Slave, so it can be integrated into Modbus TCP or serial networks. Messages are stored in a pool of 128 with user-defined priority levels, and the built-in web-based interface is used for configuration. A real-time clock supplies date and time for display.
Typical applications include PLC HMI status displays and indoor air quality display when connected to ICP DAS DL sensor modules. The unit is WEEE certified, but the source states it is not RoHS compliant.
