The VP-4231-CE7 brings computing, I/O and operator interface together in one panel-mounted unit. It runs Windows CE 7.0 on a 1.0 GHz Cortex-A8 processor and drives a 10.4" 800 x 600 TFT touch display, making it suited to combined HMI, data acquisition and control tasks.
Local expansion uses three slots for I-8K and I-87K series I/O modules, and remote I/O can be added through Ethernet I/O and RS-485 I/O modules. Non-volatile storage includes 128 KB MRAM and 16 KB EEPROM for data retention, and a 64-bit hardware serial number supports software protection.
The front panel is rated NEMA 4/IP65 and the unit is designed for panel mounting. It operates from -20 to +70 °C, accepts +10 ~ 30 VDC with redundant power inputs, and carries RoHS and WEEE certifications.
