The USB-2560/S CR adds four downstream USB 2.0 ports to a host computer, so several peripheral devices can be connected through a single upstream Type B port. It complies with USB Specification Revision 2.0 and operates at high-speed (480 Mbit/s), full-speed (12 Mbit/s) and low-speed (1.5 Mbit/s).
The hub works in self-powered mode only, taking its supply from an external +10 ~ +30 VDC source. The manufacturer notes that an externally powered hub gives the broadest compatibility for USB devices. Downstream port status is shown by LEDs, and the plastic housing mounts on a DIN-rail with an operating range of 0 ~ +75 °C.
This code is supplied with the CA-USB18 cable (USB 2.0 A-Male to B-Male, 1.8 m) and the GPSU06U-6 power supply (6 W), so it is ready to connect out of the box.
