The SG-3011H-G converts a thermocouple input into a standardised analogue output for use in control and monitoring systems. A microprocessor-controlled 24-bit A/D converter samples the thermocouple and the cold junction compensation input, and linearisation and cold junction compensation are applied to the reading. It supports twelve thermocouple types, from J and K through to R, S, B and the DIN43710 L2 type.
Response time is switch selectable between 0.5 ms and 100 ms, so the module can be set for fast-changing signals or for slower, steadier readings. Adjustable CJC offset and open thermocouple detection help with commissioning and fault diagnosis. The internally isolated power supply for the input and output circuitry provides three-way isolation rated at 1000 VDC.
The module mounts on a standard DIN rail and is specified for an operating range of -25 ~ +75 °C, making it suitable for cabinets in demanding environments. Its 0 ~ 10 VDC and 0 ~ 20 mA outputs are supplied with a 12-bit resolution and ±0.1% of FSR accuracy.
