The PMC-2841M CR is a DIN-rail power meter concentrator for energy monitoring systems. It collects data from up to 48 Modbus devices, including ICP DAS Modbus power meters and Modbus I/O modules, over RS-485 and Ethernet, and presents readings in real time or as historical records with power data statistics reports.
Configuration is handled entirely through the built-in web interface, so no additional software tool or programming is needed. Control logic is set up on web pages using a built-in IF-THEN-ELSE engine, which supports power demand management and can trigger load shedding where required. Alarms can be sent by LINE, Telegram, WeChat or email.
For IoT and cloud integration, the unit supports Modbus TCP and RTU, SNMP, MQTT, FTP and CGI, along with connection to Microsoft Azure, IBM Bluemix and the IoTstar cloud management software. Security options include HTTPS, VPN, SNMP v3, SFTP, FTPS and blacklist/whitelist filtering. The unit carries CE, UKCA, FCC, RoHS and WEEE marks.
