PIR-231-E CR is an indoor sensor module that detects human motion over a 360° field of view, up to 8 m in diameter, and can switch a connected light through its relay output. It also measures room temperature and humidity, so one device can handle occupancy-based lighting and environmental monitoring in the same location.
The module offers RS-485 and Ethernet/PoE connectivity and supports DCON, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP and MQTT, which makes it straightforward to feed data into HMI, SCADA or central control systems. Motion delay can be set by hardware switch or in software, and two wet-contact digital inputs add further monitoring options.
Installation is simple, with ceiling or surface mounting and a 0 ~ +35°C operating range. Typical use is in common areas such as public toilets, staircases, car parks and corridors.
