The NS-105PSE centralises power distribution for Ethernet-connected devices. Four of its five RJ-45 ports act as IEEE 802.3af power sourcing equipment, so PoE powered devices can be supplied over the same cable that carries their data, without a separate local supply at each device.
Each PoE channel delivers up to 15.4 W, with automatic detection and power management. The switch runs store-and-forward wire-speed switching with IEEE 802.3x flow control and a 2048-entry MAC table, and it is isolated to 1500 Vrms for one minute. The plastic casing is designed for DIN-rail mounting and is rated for -40 °C to +75 °C operation.
