The I-8053W-A1-G is a 16-channel digital input module from the I-8K/I-87K High Profile series, designed to read wet contact signals in industrial control systems. Each channel accepts an ON level from +3.5 to +30 VDC and reads OFF at +1 VDC maximum, with sink/source (NPN/PNP) input type support.
Each input is photocoupler isolated, and the module provides 3750 VDC intra-module isolation. Its ±4 kV contact ESD protection on every terminal, tested to IEC 61000-4-2, supports reliable operation where electrical noise is a concern.
Status is shown by 16 I/O LEDs and a power and communication LED, which helps with commissioning and fault finding. The module draws 0.4 W maximum and operates from -25 to +75 °C.
