Produktinformation "I-7580 PROFINET IO Device to RS-232/422/485 Serial Converter"
The I-7580 CR brings serial equipment onto a PROFINET network. It acts as a PROFINET IO device with RT functionality, and the serial port is chosen to suit the connected device: RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485. The ports cannot be used at the same time, so one interface is active per unit.
It is well suited to integrating legacy or standalone serial hardware, such as serial remote I/O, sensors, actuators, HMIs, barcode readers and RFID readers, into a PROFINET controller's cyclic data exchange. Conformance Class B and RT Class 1 are supported, with a generic GSDML file (version 2.25) provided for engineering tools.
Serial parameters cover baud rates from 1200 to 460800, 7 or 8 data bits, and none, even or odd parity, with one stop bit. Input and output data can be up to 512 and 384 bytes respectively. Mounting is on DIN-rail, and the operating range is -25 ~ +75 ℃.
