The GW-7553-CPM-M bridges a PROFIBUS DP network and CANopen devices. It presents itself as a DP-V0 slave, so a PROFIBUS master can access CANopen slave devices connected to the gateway.
It supports the CiA CANopen DS-301 v4.02 standard, Node Guarding and Heartbeat Consumer protocols, and 110 CANopen SDO/PDO commands. Input and output data lengths are each up to 240 bytes. The PROFIBUS address is set from 0 to 126 using a DIP switch, and the transmission rate is detected automatically.
Isolation is provided on both networks: 2500 Vrms high-speed iCoupler on the network side and 3000 VDC on the PROFIBUS side. The unit has a metal casing, DIN-rail mounting and an RS-232 port for firmware and configuration updates, with utility software supplied for setup. It is suited to automation, factory and process applications.
